Thousands of years ago in the city of Altea, when manly humans walked the earth, a daring teenage girl stumbled upon a cave overwhelmed with quintessence. She was given the abilities of the most powerful witch of all time. Power hungry, she turned two unsuspecting humans into a vampire and a werewolf, they were filled with rage, anger, and a thirst for blood.
After the massacre the two unholy creatures brought upon Altea, all three of them were banished to the corners of the continent.
Now they are believed to be extinct, and old folk tale. But the rumours say that every moon holds the spirits and power of the creatures within them.

this is a rewrite of an old story of mine. it has the same title, and I decided I wanted a more detailed story line. my original was rushed, undetailed, and flawed.(Not saying this wont be oops) this is klance, but no smutt, this is a work safe story folks, but gore warning? *Just to clear up the confusion, lotor is not half altean in this au* lance is an altean, and keith is galra, altean, and human. his mother is galra and altean, while his father was human. lance is a special type of altean, almost artificial. he has the rarest power since it is completely unique. he was water, and lightning powers. alteans normally only have water, ice, OR earth powers due to their peaceful tendencies. (No fire or lightning etc.) But, they are apparent on EXTREMLY rare occasuons.He got them from allura, who used her power to save him from a deadly disease when he wasnt even born yet.
