Emmy Collins is an eighteen-year-old high school student, who dreamed of travelling and becoming a doctor well at least she used to be that girl with a bright future. That was until the dead started reanimating and eating the living. It turned the world upside down.
In a small community in the middle of nowhere with a large wall surrounding it to keep the walkers out and ever since her mother died, it felt like it was to keep Emmy in that is until a scouting group bring back a wild, erratic stranger and changes everything.
