What happens when America begins its devestating descent? In the 22nd century, Rhonda Joy experiences resegregation, alienation, and dehumanization - all for being a black woman. When she is forced to be drafted in the third world war, she works alongside Lieutenant Jason Lu, the only other person of color in her bunkers. Their pasts remain a mystery, but the present is clear. The war is starting, but it's time to finally return home. Please! It's hard to make novels that are socially relevant as well as entertaining, so any and all words are appreciated :)
