Scared to fall in love; due to the Hanahaki disease becoming more common. Arc had managed to shut herself out from the world, to at least try to avoid the disease. But that ends up changing once the girl is forced to go to college, communicate with others, and live within the party life.

The symptoms of the disease are summarized to strong pain, having flowers blooming in the heart and lungs, and then throwing them up. The disease begins with coughing up a few petals and growing in intensity (and pain) until the victim is vomiting entire flowers, by which point the disease has entered its final stages...
