It was a sucky day for Maxanen Lane when she saw the ghosts of her dead parents that she didn't even know were dead yet. After the earth shattering revelation, Max is forced to go to Arcane Hills to live with her Uncle Dex Everhart. 
    
    In Arcane Hills, things run differently. Everyone has magic here, and everyone is incredibly talented with it. Except, of course, Max. Which means she's significantly weaker than everyone else.
    
    Not to mention the voices telling her that she needs to save them. Who's them? And why does she need to save them?
    
    As the weakest one of them all, how is she supposed to save anybody? 
    
    Maybe with the help of Alice Divine, she might be able to figure something out.
