At twenty-two years of age, people stop aging. Only when they find their soulmate do they start aging again, allowing them to grow old with the person they love.
Finally hitting twenty-two, Alexander Jacobi is excited to find his soulmate and grow old with them, knowing that he is most likely to find them between the ages of thirty and fifty. However, the years pass by and he continues to grow older and older with ever properly aging or finding his soulmate. There has never been someone who didn't have a soulmate, but there was always a first time for everything, and as the years pass, Alexander begins to believe that he might just be that first.
