Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that. My eyes widened up in fear and I began to have a panic attack. The guy's face immediately softened, "Back up, she's just a kid!" He whispered sharply and pushed the Freddie Krueger looking guy out of the way, and knelt down in front of me. "What's your name, sweetheart?" He spoke so low I could barely hear him. I didn't answer and just stared at the bat that was not even two feet from my face. "I'm trying to help you." His voice got sterner, and that just made me even more scared but I forced words out of my mouth. "F-Faye," I whispered, winching due to the fact it's been so long since I've spoken. The man nodded, then stood up and held out his hand. I looked up at him, and he nodded towards my ankle. "I've got stuff in the RV over there, I can help." I was reluctant to trust him, and he seemed to take notice. "You really don't have another option, kid."
