"Kaida, Don't you dare leave this forest again, You don't know what's out there or the danger outside in the open world" My father scolds me, yet again for leaving the forest boundaries 

"Father I don't see the problem in leaving the forest they'll never find out what I am unless I show them or they see me and Aayan shift, so I don't know what you're so worried about" I reply slightly annoyed as I look up at him 

"Kaida?"

"Yes, father?"

"Your eyes." My eyes widen and I run out to the river by our house to look down at my reflection in the murky water, I curse under my breathe and storm back into the house to meet my fathers gaze
