Mexican-American, antisocial, painter Mariposa Montoya tries to keep her head low during her senior year, with the only intentions of graduating and making it into a prestigious art school.

When someone from her past comes back to school, she begins to relive the haunting memories of her past.

As her problems begin to increase, she begins to isolate from the most important people in her life, giving up on the ideas of happiness, love, and life...

Until she met Oscar Shields.

Oscar is the golden boy of the city. From being the captain of the football team to having the hot looks of a Greek god.

When two opposites meet, it can either be the beginning of something beautiful, or a recipe for disaster.

But through thick and thin, only one thing remains.
