Hermione has always hid behind a mask of perfection and kindness. A mask ideal for the image of a perfect hero. Despite her friends' beliefs, she always felt empty and as if her life was pointless. She walked the halls and rooms of Hogwarts, hoping to find her meaning. Then she found it. Her point. Her meaning. But it wasn't hidden in a room, or stuffed in a broom closet, or even lying around in a hallway. It was in the bedroom next door, or should I say, he was in the bedroom next door.

Draco was raised with the mentality to feel nothing. And for a while, that's what he did. He didn't feel anything, and that allowed him to do some regrettable things. He is back at Hogwarts now to try and find a way to feel. To get a taste of what he's been deprived of his whole life; love. He came in feet first, but because of his past he was shunned, looked down upon, feared. He thought finding love would be impossible at this point. But who knew that the girl he hated most, the girl in the bedroom next door, would change that.
