Nalani Santana is the 24-year-old, famous, and rich daughter of Leonardo Santana, the CEO of Santana Enterprises which happens to be the most well-known construction business in the state of California. She just recently graduated from UCLA with her Doctorate in Business Finance and is well on her way proving to her father that she's capable of taking over the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) position in the family company. But what happens when she comes back from her summer trip in the Maldives and her best friend (and crush) Elijah Rosario suggests they get married for a year? Elijah Rosario is the 24-year-old who's ready to take over the CEO position of Corp. He's been training and learning the ins and outs of the family business since he started high school. He graduated from an Ivy League college with his Doctorate in Business Admins. at 21 and has been training for CEO since. However, what happens when his father tells him he can only have the position if he's married? Well, he goes to his best friend and asks if she would do him this honor. What could go wrong?

Valeria leaned in, voice razor-thin. "You are my wife. You belong to consequences." She released her grip. "Say it." "No." Valeria waited. The quiet broke Inez, she hated being ignored. "...I'll behave, I'll be a good girl" Inez muttered. "Specify." Inez swallowed hard. "...I'll be your good girl" Valeria stepped back, already distant. "Good," she said.
