The age-old tradition of telling ghost stories around a campfire has gotten a digital upgrade with Creepypastas - scary stories or pictures that spread across message boards, becoming Internet lore that are discussed both on and offline.

People around the word share their bizarre and terrifying stories, hoping that the tales will gain popularity and become classics, often quoted or cited by horror fans and frightened netizens.

Like with the ghost stories of old, not all creepypastas are particularly scary or good, even if they are frequently passed around. Reading a long story with an interesting title or image is no guarantee of a frightening payoff, and the writers often forget that just having someone meeting a quick and unfortunate fate does not an interesting story make.

When a real gem of a creepypasta is found, it makes all the searching and scavenging worth it (at least until it's time to fall asleep). You are home alone, and you hear on the news about the profile of a murderer who is on the loose. You look out the sliding glass doors to your backyard, and you notice a man standing out in the snow. He fits the profile of the murderer exactly, and he is smiling at you. You gulp, picking up the phone to your right dialing 911. You look back out the glass as you press the phone to your ear, and notice he is much closer to you now. You then drop the phone in shock. There are no footprints in the snow... It's his reflection. The story is called Home Alone. These are just some Creeypasta's. These Creepypastas do not belong to me, all rights reserved to the rightful owners. Read them if you want, I don't care.

But, one day, when the abuse got too far, Gwen snapped. She went insane and brutally murdered her father. When Gwen ran away from her accomplishment, she accidentally ran into the forest that everyone forbidden to go in. There, she earned an injury that can be treated. But in the forest, where was help? Luckily, three boys took her to their mansion and treated her with basic anatomy. As always, though, there was a major twist. Gwen was forcefully living with the group of brutal murderers, the CreepyPastas. There, she is 'adopted' into the family, training to gain her strength and skills. But, Gwen slowly realizes everything she lost, besides her father, were in this mansion the whole time. And there, she finds her secret imperfection, her boyfriend, her brother... Herself.

When a woman was dared by her friends to try to find a new creepy pasta that showed up online, she found a man walking toward the same direction. She didn't know it yet, but he was on the hunt for the same thing. She stumbled upon a creature that looked like a half dog half human with a mask and a necklace of bloody fingers and ears. It was eating the flesh of a dead man. The sight made her sick to her stomach, and the creature targeted her next. That's when the man she saw in the distance intervened. He had some kind of training to fight something like that, and the woman had to go through it now too. To the public she was dead, but to the creepy pastas she was next in line to being their worst nightmare.
