This story takes place as a result of a tragic event. Marinette Dupain-Cheng wakes up to some bad news! Her best friend, Alya Cesaire is dead. Alya's boyfriend and love of her life, Nino Lahiffe is devestated. It seems no one appears to know what actually happened to her. She was just found face down in the water below the bridge. The question remains did she jump, or was she pushed?
Adrien Agreste who had move away years ago due to his father's business transfer to the United States, is back in Paris, France. He is unaware what took place while he was away.
...Our story, picks up years later when, on the anniversary of her best friend's tragic death Marinette receives a single purple rose! She has no idea who it came from as their is no note attached! The sender it appears is no where in sight. Who is this mysterious person? Why do they send her a rose? Why now?
