The Oshihira family has had close ties with the Morinozuka's and Haninozuka's for generations so when an arranged marriage was set up between two of the families, it wasn't shocking.
Takashi and Yukio grew up together and are extremely close, so their parents decided they were to marry after they graduated high school. Though the marriage is arranged, Takashi and Yukio love each other dearly and are happy to be together.
Yukio is extremely sensitive to sound, light, and scents, so his mother decided homeschool would be best for him. He doesn't leave the house often and has never met the Host Club, but he has heard stories from Takashi and Mitsukuni.
For his last year of high school he decided to go to Ouran so he could spend more time with Takashi and get out of the house a bit more.
This is where his story with the host club begins.
