10, nine, 8 [Author's Edition]

hello! this is soda delivering the read-along/author's note edition of 1098! the original version is on AO3 [https://archiveofourown.org/works/12669117/chapters/28879443], so you can read it there too.

this is a good read alone. all the a/n's will be annotated in the comments with a ** on the side so you don't have to worry about spoilers. it's just a lot of notes/information/etc i have jotted down as i wrote this behemoth fic. it'll give insight and reasoning for seemingly random events in the story and maybe hint towards the other stories happening in the same universe with the other couples/in the past. it will also include illustrations/references as to how things/places/pets look! so if you find those things distracting, i /highly/ recommend reading it on AO3 first! also, please keep in mind that i'm based in the US, so i'll be explaining some things that might not be clear to an international audience. If you find those things redundant, just skip over it!
