She'd heard the legends. You know, the ones about the monsters being trapped underneath Mt Ebott. It wasn't exactly her plan to be shoved down there with them. Literally. The surface wasn't really a nice place, but then again neither was the underground. Adapting tends to save your life in this type of world, and Skie's learned that. She's had plenty of time.
(still a crappy description but it'll work i guess)

Fallen Under
Fallen Under is a full-length fan-novel of the game 'Undertale' set in 'Underfell'. This work will not have anything sexually explicit, though there is a (major) gore warning. It is light of heart, but some dark themes including suicide, abuse, and murder are explored. Mt. Ebott is famous for the woods that a child may wander into and never return. In legend, monsters snapped up children from villages, hid in dark corners, and ate the souls of the weak or unprepared. When a young child chooses to flee into the mountain rather than face human capture, they find out that these monsters might not just be characters in old children's stories. Frisk Foster, an eight-year-old child cursed by hereditary blindness, falls into a cavern full of merciless monsters, all of which want nothing more than to steal their soul. Armed with only their sense of justice and kindness, Frisk must travel across the underground to get back home. Yet when faced with the terrible truth of the consequence of their escape, can they truly find the will to complete their mission? I'm The Apprentice: Underfell Papyrus X Female Reader
EDIT: READER AND PAPYRUS ARE BOTH IN THEIR TEENS!! WARNING: BOOK CONTAINS SWEARING/CUSSING AND VIOLENCE Just before she passed away, my grandmother told me about the monsters who lived under Mount Ebott. My mother hated everyone. My father died in the war of the monsters. My grandmother decided to whisper to me: "Promise me, You will find, A better family. One who will love you, No matter their duties. I will love you too, I will be watching you. No matter your choice, Let me hear your happy voice." So that's what I did. Her words went through my head as I climbed the mountain, hoping that a monster could help me. - "Sans flinched as the shouting downstairs grew louder. The ropes around my wrist seemed to grow tighter as I struggled, hoping to break free from the monster stomping up the stairs angrily. As Sans stepped back, his door was smashed open. I took one long look at the figure standing there and instantly knew: this is why I am here." - (SLOW STORY! Memory Lane [DISCONTINUED]
(Sans x reader) !~**~! "How did you get down here anyway?" Sans asked, turning to me with a raised eyebrow. Do skeletons even have eyebrows? Huh. "I...don't know. I don't remember falling, I don't remember anything. Everything's just a blank page." I shrugged. "Where is this "Underground" anyway?" I asked, turning to him as well. "Mount Ebott. That's what humans named it and we kind of went with that. And I'm surprised you don't remember anything. Usually humans remember who they are and how they got here. Strange.." He said in a curious tone, more to himself than me. (Undertale x reader, what else do ya need to know? :3 )Complete
