A supernatural short story with a Japanese influence. This was an especially vivid dream my wife told me about this morning and it struck a chord with me developing into this short tale. Otsukimi is the Japanese Moon viewing festival in Autumn and it seemed to fit so well with the story and the parasol that it became the title.

The Onryo

This is a Keyote story. A Japanese ghost has appeared to Paul on the Thornbrush Reservation. The only source of Japanese mythology are the internet and Mei. Mei is Chinese. She is familiar with some types of oriental ghosts. She suspects the ghost is after the male element that Paul represents. Can Keyote keep the Japanese ghost from stealing Paul's Yang (Um, male energy) and possibly exorcise the spirit before it harms Paul. You may want to read 'Remnants of a Conspiracy' before this story, but you don't have to.
