I hate having to write these... I don't know how to describe a book I haven't finished yet. But, based on what I have, here it goes. Please, keep in mind, this is book two of the trilogy. If you haven't read the first one yet, you can find it in my profile, Bound by Destiny. Barely living through the trap set by the Fae that wants her gone, Eve imagines the worst is behind her. A change of location brings hope and sadness. But when one of her vampires is taken, she realizes that the fight will never be over. Not as long as she lives. Armed with magic she doesn't know how to use and her lovers, she enters a world she had never believed could exist, on a rescue mission that would see her take the Unseelie throne, or her and all those she loved dead. I am just about to turn around and head down the alley toward the street when I see two shadows step away from the wall a little farther down from where I am standing. I don't know what species they are though, but given that they just witnessed me kill a vampire I decide it's time to get the hell out of here. At least they aren't blocking my path to the street.
