Marie tells the truth and nothing but the truth. Even when it hurts people, she doesn’t care it’s the truth. It’s not that she doesn’t care about people’s feelings it’s just they want the truth and she’s giving it to them. She’s trying to learn to tell the truth smoother and less hurtful. On the way her best friend Anna makes a bet that she can’t go a month without being completely honest in a nice way. Not a lot of people like her because of the way she is. Though there are some people who respect her honesty. She realizes that she needs to change but can she? And who will help her change?
