Something sinister is brewing in New York and much to the dismay of Julianne Parker, her Father and his company can't quite prove their theories. Like any loving parent, Joseph Parker strikes a deal and sends his barely legal daughter to the city that never sleeps, hoping that, by posing as a personal assistant to Samuel Fitzgerald-- the city's most successful young businessman and owner of the company under suspicion-- she will dig deep enough into their dark past and find proof that Global Export is shipping more than just cars, clothes and jewellery.

Julianne is more than aware of the possible dangers, but what comes as a surprise is that Samuel Fitzgerald is a golden-eyed smooth talker that challenges her ability to do her legitimate job as an assistant, never mind her other job that consists of snooping through his things and collecting incriminating evidence against him.

At times it's tough, unbearable even. But what Julianne can't and won't forget is what her Father promised her if she successfully brings Fitz to justice.
