Khyren "KD" Maleek Daniels Jr. is a resilient nineteen-year-old sophomore at Piedmont Public High School. Growing up without a consistent father figure since the age of three, he longs for a male role model and mentor. Determined to break stereotypes, Khyren wants to prove that being white doesn't mean his life is easy. Facing challenges from gang violence, family struggles, and setbacks in school, he battles to find his path. Will he find the guidance he needs, or will the streets pull him in?
