Anchored To Hope
In everything we face, every predicament that comes our way, there is always two ways of looking at it. Circumstances come for a reason. There are meant to make us grow, to make us become better and blossom into more. They don't come so that we shrink to less but so that we become more splendid. To be more extraordinary. Dirty: A Tale Of Akintoye The Wanderer
Excerpt; He saw some benefits in her. Young, beautiful, fair with smooth skin and a desirable body. He brushed the tears on her face away. Innocent. That was what she was. Without wasting much time, with the men watching he quickly pulled down his jean trousers and defiled the lady of her innocence. ∞ Lucius Akintoye is a wanderer. A lost soul trying to navigate through the darkness. After the death of his sister years ago, following unfortunate events that lands him on the streets where he starts his lonely journey he meets people that become his new reality. Thrust into a life of deceit, theft, drinking and all sorts of vices there seems to be no light for this loner. A disagreement between crew members fuelled by alcohol, anger and insecurities leads this Nigerian wanderer down a deeper hole with blood on his hands, and head always overlooking backwards. When there appears to be no hope for him he stumbles into an abandoned church. With the weight of so many sins on his back can He have a chance to turn a new leaf towards light or is there really no hope for people like him. Dirty tries to answer the question if sin defines a man, or whether man is worthy of forgiveness and change no matter how horrible his past. 1 Timothy 1:15 "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." This saying is true, and it can be trusted.
