Everyone has a spirit animal.

You are born with the abilities of your spirit animal such as the heightened sense of smell of a dog or the enhanced hearing of a cat. You may also tend to pick up your spirit animal's habits and cravings such as staying awake at night like an owl or the sudden hunger for meat like a lion or other predator. He interacts with countless animals to see which one is his spirit animal, yet finds he can speak to any he encounters then barely understands them the next day.
