After her parents skipped the Procedure before and a little after Kiersten was born, she ended up with strange powers no one could explain. However, word got out about the Procedure skip and Kiersten's parents were executed. Many years later, her powers grow out of control and things that happen in her warped mind happen in real life, which threatens the human race.
