I know I should not take another drink. Everything in me screamed that I should just go home, sleep and then wake up at least a little bit fresh. The hours until I have to be on work are counting down more and more the longer I stare into my glass. I should really go to bed, wake up and look presentable for work, like the image I am supposed to portray for the other employees and the guests. Still with these thoughts in my head I hear a friend in the background ask if anybody wants another drink. A quick look at my watch tells me it is already 3 hours passed midnight. Too late now for a good sleep anyway. "Sure I'll have another beer, please." The words escape my mouth the same moment that my mind settles on regretting this all in the morning. Despite having a privileged upper hand, Hadrian is willing to form an alliance. Priya's only condition? No sex. Long hours and travel away from her father.
