Queen of the Beautifuls is the story of a single mother who got divorced from her husband because she decided to make the right choice. Tola had so many mysteries surrounding her life and marriage; it was a pity she found out about all of these a tad too late. 

 

Lacking love and empathy from the person she called mother and even from the siblings she loved with all her heart, she found true love in Tade. It was painful for her to realize that her daughter would have to go through a similarly painful childhood as she had.

 

Queen of the Beautifuls is a story that reveals the pains of a divorcee who didn't deserve all she was made to go through in the name of love, a woman that had to be the father and mother to her daughter. Her daily emotional turmoil switching from high hopes to deep despair was captured in this novel. 

 

It is a story written to garner empathy for divorcees as not all bargained for their present conditions and to disabuse the mind of the society that their marriage failures were their sole faults. Single mothers are not failures, outcasts, or other negative connotations we have heard of; they are beautiful people that life happened to as it did to us all in different ways and measures.All Rights Reserved
