{"Step closer, and you'll see what trouble does to you." } Lexie Jones isn't just an average small town girl, no she has a big brother that might freight anyone who looks at her. Her big brother doesn't bother her. She understands why he's so overprotective. Years before she turned twenty-six, she had a family. Not an ordinary picket-fence Northside family. No a family with secrets, lies and constantly hiding the painful truth. She was abused, so was her older brother, FP Jones. Their father, Forsythe Pendleton Jones SR, Her mother left when she was young, her brother began being her mom, dad and brother all at the same time to protect his little sister from all harm.
But one day after she stopped at her local diner, her motorcycle needs a little care and a certain someone comes to her rescue.
Dean Winchester didn't have a normal childhood. Instead of baseball games or school dances. His life was filled the most dangerous things you could ever imagine. It all started on a stormy night in 1983, it was a normal night. Normal wasn't the definition anymore, not for Dean. That supposedly normal night, his mother went to his little brother's room and he found her burning alive, scream on the ceiling. Shortly after his mother died, his father, John Winchester became obsessed with finding the thing that killed his wife. He took Dean and his brother, Sammy on hunts to kill anything that looked supernatural. From the age Four, Dean knew what supernatural creatures were and how to kill them. His dad drank, slept on motel beds.
And to this very day, Dean can't find a normal life.
Dean doesn't do relationships or anything close to commitment. A year after his father died, he found out the truth about his father's death. His brother Sam died, he couldn't handle that, So he made a deal with a cross-road demon. Now that was until he has a job in Riverdale and has a run in with the local, Lexie Jones. Can Lexie change how Dean views the world or the women he sleeps with?
Alexis Hart or Smith, as she prefers, grew up learning to hunt the things that go bump in the night. It was her life. She was taught it was the only thing that mattered. She never knew what normality felt like, she didn't even know what it was like to be a normal hunter. That was until she met Dean Winchester.
At the age of thirteen Alexis was on a hunt with her father, he went out and said he'd be back in a little bit. Then when he didn't show up or even call Alexis knew what had happened. She was stuck here and after a few days of sitting in the motel room she decided to check out the supposedly haunted house where she met the fourteen year old Dean Winchester. She'd never met a hunter her age before. She hadn't met many hunters at all.
Over the course of a week and a half the two grew close, bonding over the fact they both grew up hunting. Dean had even introduced her to his little brother Sam.
When John came back from his hunt Dean did something Alexis had least expected. He asked of she could stay with them, seeing she had no where else to go. John pitied her and let her tag along.
Now, almost thirteen years later dean and Alexis are still best friends. They still hunt together. And when John goes missing Alexis is determined to help Dean find his father. Dean and Alexis break into Sams college apartment in hopes of convincing him to help them.
Alexis also has to figure out what these weird dizzy spells she keeps getting are. What happens when she starts to think they are more than just dizzy spells? And all the while learning to accept that she might just have feelings for the hunter that gave her a chance thirteen years ago.
