It is said when people die with regrets, they are given a second chance to start once more. Such was not the case for Tom Marvalo Riddle. Full of lust for power, he fashioned himself a new name 'Voldemort' and murdered hundreds of people left and right without remorse and even broke his soul to create the forbidden Horcruxes, dark magic that grants one immortality. His tyranny was brought to an end by a young boy who was a victim of his crimes. Due to his broken soul, he finds himself stuck in Limbo, a place between living and death, unable to move forward in any direction.
That was when Death presented himself. Death took pity on the broken living and granted him a second chance.
With a new face and body, Tom Marvalo Riddle finds himself alive in the living world once more. The world was renovated in the years he was gone. People left and right were cheering for the 'The Boy Who Lived'. The praises of his nemesis sent his blood boiling. At that point, he vowed to rise and conquer the Wizarding World once more.
He was frustrated but he had to wait. It was luck but the catalyst to his plans came to him. He had found the perfect pawn for his plans.
The pawn was in the form of Vivian Jane Wright.
Death gave him a chance for redemption. He accepted it for destruction. She wasn't going to let the chance be wasted.
