Stella - I can expect two things during the holidays. My family pressing when my long-term boyfriend will pop the question and my mother counting down the days until my pet grooming business fails. This year should be the same but he cheated. I know! I'm awesome! His loss could be another's gain except my brother becomes involved and so does my surly drunk neighbor. Despite what you hear, living at The Muse isn't like visiting a fun house on drugs although we try to keep it real.

Hogan - The Muse is an apartment building I ran to hide in after my life shattered into pieces I no longer felt the need to pick up. With nothing but time, spend it drinking and finding women to defile. Then a tiny sprite across the hall catches my attention with her unavoidable drama and unrelenting sass. Soon we're caught up in something neither of us can deny is anything but raw attraction borne out of resentment.

I put on a show only for him in front of hundreds of people. I bring one hand up to my hair flicking them to the other side, trailing that hand down to my sternum and then my boob as I keep swaying my hips from to side, bending my knees as I lower myself a bit to the ground before sharply standing up again and slowly spinning around, circling my hips. I run my hands through the back of my hair before nailing my gaze on his eyes, slowly walking up to him. I watch him as he wets his lips before biting his plumb bottom one, eyes trailing up my body. Once I reach him, I wrap my arms around his neck and run my fingers through his hair as I press my body up against his. His hands shoot out to grab me from my lower waist, pulling me even closer to him as he pushes a leg between mine, staring into my eyes. I turn my head to the side and brush my lips against his ear before licking and biting his earlobe the same way I did at the party before whispering a few words he was dying to hear. "Take me back to your place." ---------- Theo is a 20-year-old university student with a bad temper. Letting go of the past can be a difficult thing to do but a much-needed one to move on. "I'm sorry," I apologized as I watched her break down even more. There was a pang in my chest as I stared at her. Fiore. I took a beautiful flower and crushed all of its petals. Not being able to bare the sight of her being so broken, I stood from the bed and walked to the door before hitting the lights. "You should get some sleep," I suggested as I turned my back to her and Aurora and left the room. I then went into the now empty living room and spread out on one of the long sofas. Despite how comfy the sofa was, I knew I wouldn't be getting much sleep tonight. All I could think about was the sight of Sagacity being so hurt by what I had done. I had made her a promise that the next time she'd cry, it would be from being happy. I broke that promise. I even broke her heart, and that was the last thing I had ever wanted to do. Whatever consequences I had to face was well deserved. I didn't deserve Sagacity, and she didn't deserve my ill treatment. If she wanted nothing to do with me, I would have to accept that, despite how hard letting her go would be. I had made my bed, and I alone would lay in it.
