"Why are you doing this," I whispered for only him to hear. His cold, shaky hands cupping my face.

"Because I love you." The way he said it, with so much honesty and love; pissed me off.

I reached forward, grabbed the front of his t-shirt, and pulled him closer to me. He smiled, and that's when I knew: I had to do this. Yeah, it'll hurt him, but letting him continue loving me, will be hurting him more. So I pulled his face towards mine and whispered in his ear, "You can't love the unlovable. Sorry, Dylan. Better luck next time." With that said, I left; with a single tear streaming down my face, and my now broken heart, shattered on the floor behind me. But did I stop walking?
