Cassiopeia Nemesis Black will do whatever it takes to protect her brothers, which includes going against everything she believes in and pretending that one of them doesn't exist. After Sirius runs away from home and is disowned the summer before 5th year, punishments now fell onto the shoulders of Cassiopeia, which she's okay with if it means Regulus doesn't get hurt. With Sirius happy and Regulus safe, what does it matter how Cassiopeia feels? What does it matter if she's okay? Cassiopeia is supposed to pretend Sirius no longer exists to her, but what if she can't? What if a certain group of people notices that she's not okay? We all know what happens when that certain group of people set their mind towards something. ----- Ok, so I only just now realized how similar this story is to other ones so I'm really sorry. I'm not trying to steal anyone's work or anything. Really this is like a therapy book for me. My counselor said whenever I'm overwhelmed to just BLAH write and that's what I'm gonna do with this so don't expect it to be amazing. Also, updating probably won't ever have a regular schedule. Basically, this entire thing is whatever pops up in my head when I'm stressed.

For a star to be born, there is one thing that must happen: a gaseous nebula must collapse. So collapse. Crumble. This is not your destruction. This is your birth. "You think I'm jealous of him?" she asked Evan, and it wasn't rhetorical anymore. "I'm not. I'm jealous of you. Because even after everything, you still believe someone could love you without flinching. And I-I never let myself believe that."
