Travis Phelps- the homophobic asshole that beat up the outsiders as a way to filter his own self hatred, stuck in an abusive household. He was miserable, gay and being suffocated by the grip of his father's religiousness. Sal Fisher- the new kid in town, the exact thing Travis hated. Gay and transgender, on the outside happy with his life. On the inside, dying from a heart disease and living with a verbally abusive alcoholic father. Both were miserable, though it was hardly obvious to outsiders. They were polar opposites yet the exact same. Brought together by the very same religiousness that was slowly killing them, the two are at first enemies. Though after growing together, they make a decision. They were going to run away. ⚠️ Triggering actions such as- Cussing, Depression, Self harm, thoughts of suicide, etc..⚠️ Sally Fisher, better known as Sally Face from his previous 'friends', has caught himself in web of hurt. Despite his best attempts, the words coming from his demons aren't disposable, and his main demon isn't making his life any better at school. Sally's friends, Larry, Ashley, and Todd, do their best to lift their friend up, but despite their efforts it's not having the same effect as they had hoped. For Ashley and Todd that is, Larry seems to have a better grasp on Sally and his situations. His dad is an abusive drunkard that doesn't see the wrong in his violent actions. Sally's personal demon is sending him destructive messages that do nothing but bring the boy lower than the ground. Even though he has his demon on his back, Larry has his back. Through thick and thin and back again. These actions seem to have a lasting effect as Sally realizes that his best friend might be more than a friend. Lets see how this ends

For as long as he's known "Sally Face," hes has an emotionless white and pink face with the holes of his eyes being the only peak into his humanity. The eerie mask was all Travis saw of the boy for a long time. Getting to know the boy he found out why the prosthetic was worn and how it was not just some gay fashion statement. But even as he got friendly, or more than friendly, with Sal, he didn't see under the medical device until after high school Sal had never shown his face purposely to anyone, most the time it was on accident. With Travis he specifically wanted to show the horror that is what was left of his face. He trusted Travis and wanted to take that step in their relationship. But after he did, nothing changed, whenever he was with Travis he was still covered. Sal hated the way he looked, he barley had his prosthetic off when he was by himself, much less with his friends or family. This fact was one that Travis hated. Travis is determined to help Sal feel more comfortable in his own skin. Feel more confident without his mask, whether it was when he was alone or accompanied by his boyfriend.

No one noticed the blue haired boy, unless it was to make fun of his prosthetic face. Henry Fisher, the father of the boy, decided that maybe moving to some place new would help lift the boy's spirits. Sal didn't think it would work, he thought that he'd just be thrown into a war zone of hormonal teens. Until he met the Johnson boy and his group of misfits. Everyone became quick friends, each confiding in one another with feelings and secrets. During late nights Sal would confide in Larry with his nightmares, which occurred frequently after 'the incident'. He thought maybe they were just close friend, until he realized: what if they could be more?
