Don't let them see you cry

"Ivy, When you get to High School remember two things. One, Stay with your TRUE friends; and Two this important so never forget this, Don't EVER let them see you cry." This was the last thing my mom told me before she disappeared, three days before the last day of 8th grade, leaving me with my drunken father. Three years later and I realize I can't living with my abusive father. I tell people what he does to me, but no one believes. So the only thing I can do is leave but I'll never forget that I can't let people see me cry, because then they'll see my fear.
