Understand-verb- to perceive the meaning of; grasp the idea of; comprehend.

Understanding isn't just what people did when it came to Aeliana Rivers.

The only thing she is completely sure of is that looks are definitely deceiving. At 17 Aeliana has become very good at deceiving people. Her father has never constantly been in the picture and her mom passed away when Aeliana was 13, she has most definitely mastered the art of looking fine. Being strong is her thing; not that she isn't happy, but nobody can really relate to the loneliness she feels.

That is until Liam Anderson pops into her life.

Liam is your typical perfect all American boy from your perfect all American family. But once again can looks be deceiving? Can Aeliana and Liam help each other realize that not being perfect is okay and being strong isn't always the best thing?
