The two meet at a cafe, where a meeting is held every Saturday for the teens who have lost their parents and are depressed.
Winter (Blaze) Bass has been going there ever since May 4, 2011, the week her parents died in a mass murder.
Micheal Clifford has been going there since January 9, 2014, the day his parents died in a car wreck by a drunk driver.

Meet Shailene Jermiah. The 16 year old girl who normally goes by shay, lives in Louisiana with her mom (Alison),Little sister (leslie), and older brother (james).
