In a dystopian world where society has long since evolved to perfection, those born are given an examination test to see if they pass the biological and innate requirements for living in the perfect society. Those who fail are luckily given a second chance to prove themselves, where they are allowed to be raised in dorms that are ostracized from the rest of society. Lily, not knowing what really happened to her parents, and not understanding at all, she decides to take things into her own hands. At first she killed animals because she thought her parents were lonely where ever they were. After trying to kill her own Grandmother she was sent to The House, an insane asylum for kids. There she met seven other kids with situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that her sanity is in jeopardy? This story is told from Lily's point of view but it actually told by another girl with her little comments every now and again.Complete
