Cisco: Brilliant Past, Bright Future It was a cold and day of December, 1984 in San Francisco when Mr. Sandy Lerner and Leonard Bosack started Cisco Systems which facilitated the Communication and Networking in Corporate Sector. The Two Computer Scientists from Stanford pioneered the concept of a local area network (LAN) being used to connect geographically disparate computers over a multiprotocol router system. Cisco faced Ups and Downs in its journey of becoming the World Largest Networking and Communication Service Provider with more than half of the Market Share. Its unmatchable services just changed the way of doing business through secure internal communication, saved lot of communication costs.
