I remember falling to my knees and screaming in anger. I was angry that my family was gone, that everything I knew was gone and angry that the fire didn't take me too. My shoulders shook with pointless sobs. I remember hearing someone speaking. I couldn't understand much of what they said except for when they mentioned the King. At first, I didn't understand what this meant but later, I came to realize why it was the King that was responsible for my family's death. He thought he could burn my home to the ground with everyone inside and get away with it. All because my parents were trapped in a life they never chose nor did they want it. The King didn't count on any survivors and that will be his downfall.
