I never looked back. Not once. Flashbacks came every month or so, it was frightening they all were. I remember sitting in the middle of my bed, knees pulled up to my chest, my body trembling in fear. I remember seeing my disturbing reflection of myself. Tear stains running down my face, my eyes as dull as the black night sky.

I wouldn't ever forget the first time, I wouldn't forget the sight of me, I wouldn't ever forget those memories. I wanted revenge but I was too weak, too scared, not enough confidence. Not enough courage to stand up for myself or for anyone else.

Life hasn't been easy since then. It's like riding a rollercoaster but one you can never get off. You are tied down. Legs and arms strapped to the carriage as you feel your life rise and fall not being able to do anything about it. Rise and fall just like that rollercoaster once had.
