I killed a gorgeous man. I'm defiantly going to hell. Looking back at his face, he seemed in a peaceful slumber, but the hunk of metal in his chest sold off the truth. Rubbing his still warmed lips, I felt a suspicious prick against my digit and lifted his upper lips in curiosity. If curiosity killed the cat, I was now deceased. The man's jaws were filled with two sets of scissor sharp fangs. I was staring into the jaws of Venom and I reeled back in fear.
I squeezed my eyes shut tight trying to catch my breath and calm my nerves. I hit a monster, a devastatingly beautiful monster. Am I still going to hell for this, or am I pardoned to heaven? The guilt started to eat away at my heart. Touching the scrap metal protruding out of the muscle filled chest, I gently wrapped my fingers around the ragged edges and tried to yank it out. I tugged hard ripping a cut into my palm in the process. Inky black blood splattered up my shirt as I tossed the metal aside.
"Seriously, this night couldn't get any worse!" I wiped my hands down the front of my shirt smearing the inky fluid in large splotches. "Ah, I'm making it worse, this is my life a horrid mess made by my own hands!" Slowly, I dragged my eyes from my blood-stained shirt to a pair of white clouded eyes.
"No wonder he ran into my car, he's freaking blind, yep, I've landed myself back in hell. I hit a blind man," I breathed in shock as my breath came out in sudden hitches. The undead man turned to his side and propped his head up with his hand to lazily watch my panic attack.
"Deep breaths love, you're starting to go into shock and your lacey bra is a nice touch to the ensemble," his velvety voice dripped with humor.
There are worse things than death.

"What is wrong with you?" I seethed.
She had my back against the wall, pinning me down so I couldn't move. She was much stronger than me, even when I used my strength to get out of her embrace. I held her gaze and I knew that she was gone. There wasn't an ounce of goodness left in her body.
She laughed at my question. Of course, I knew what was wrong with her. But I have to find a way to get her back. "What is wrong with me? Ha, nothing sweetheart." she told me with a smile on her face. "I'm just having a little fun."
"Yeah, and fun for you is killing innocents," I growled.
"Oh, I hate to say this to you but they aren't all innocent."
I finally broke free of her and I dropped her to the floor. I held her down with both arms while I was on top of her. All she did was give me a smile. An eerie smile that made a shiver run down my spine. "I should kill you for what you've done," I whispered. "I should make you pay."
"Oh, but Sebastian, you won't," she said. "You know why? Because at the end of the day I'm still me, and you will never hurt me, will you?"
I hated that she was right. I couldn't kill her. My mind told me that it would be the best to do it but my heart told me otherwise. I mentally cursed at myself for letting this happen to her. "Elora, I know you're still in there." I said.
She was still on the ground, but she was not resisting which seemed odd. "She died a long time ago," she said finally. "Alongside her love for you."
