He remembered falling from the Dark Realm, the Arch Demon grinning wickedly at him through the portal with his severed wings in hand.
He remembered the Celestials; his father included, scorning his existence and erasing his heroic deeds from history.
And lastly, he remembered his mate. His husband and soul-bonded he loved with everything that he was. Whom he had literally changed time for so he wouldn't die in a massacre that had eradicated his home.
...and for that, Rinaren would make sure all four realms felt his return when he rose again.
