Lance and the other paladins sighed as they looked around the small village. The chief was talking with Allura and Shiro about something making Lance curious, he ignored the temptation and walked further into the village.

"Masaki!!! Come play with me!!" A child screeched. Lance looked over to a small home, it was bigger than the arusians typical house. A groan was heard making Lance smile. Just like home, he thought to himself. Suddenly a male made his way out of the small house. Lance gaped at the male. He had white cream colored hair and small freckles littered around his cheeks. His eyes were beautiful and different colors.

The male looked at the small child and crouched down. "I'm busy right now, I'll play with you later." The child whined and pouted. The male was about to respond when he heard Lance's slight shift in movement. Their eyes made brief eye contact before it was interrupted by a loud horn going off. Masaki grabbed the small child and ran to the center of town with Lance behind him.

Lance's Funeral by NineteenEighteen

Keith hated himself for liking Lance. His limber build, the way he carried himself with shoulders raised and chin held high. His blue eyes, dark like the sea's deep, inky bottom. His tangled mess of dark brown hair that stood at odd angles, and never seemed to obey Lance's vigorous brushing. His smooth, light brown skin as he crinkled his nose, or batted the sand from his eyes on a particularly windy afternoon. Even his laugh, as loudly obnoxious as it was, Keith adored. And that was the worst part, because, unlike Keith, Lance hated him. With every word he uttered, an argument seemed to arise. Lance constantly joked and poked fun of Keith, determined to one up him in every way imaginable. So, in all retrospect, Keith had every right to detest Lance in return. But that was the thing: he didn't. Even as Lance stood before him on the worst days - face scrunched and reddened, throat hoarse from the shouting - all Keith thought as he stood stone faced, eyes locked on Lance's chattering lips, was: 'wow, I really want to kiss this shit-head.' And then he was both mad at himself and the world. Mad at himself for imagining Lance in ways he shouldn't, and mad at the world for allowing Lance to be in his life in the first place. It was torture. As powerful as a lash to the chest, or a hammer to the kneecap. Especially now, as Keith stood above Lance's cold, unflinching corpse. The dead boy's bony hands crossed over his chest, shoulders squared atop the white, velvet cushion that rested inside the opened coffin. He wore the best suit and tie money could buy, and had his shaven scalp hidden by a head of hair that was similar, but could never match the boy's old image. The image before cancer. The image before hell. The image before Keith's every being crumbled to dust. *** A Klance au in which Keith discovers that him and only him can see Lance's ghost. COVER ART: kuurakuu on Tumblr

"Thank you. But that was not my father. The real King Alfor was a great man and a great father. He may not be here with us anymore, but his dream lives on through all of us, and his legacy is Voltron," Allura told the Paladins. A small smile formed on my face. I was proud of her. She then started to walk toward me. "Olesya" "Allura" I grunted when she ran towards me and collided with my body. Arms wrapped around me and I stood still. It had been so long since I'd been this close to someone. I slowly warmed up to the hug and wrapped my arms around her. "It's been way too long," I mumbled in her ear. "I agree, my friend," She said, pulling away from the hug. She grasped my hand and brought me closer to the Paladins. "Paladins, this is an old friend of mine. Her name is Olesya Elrod." ------------------------------ Meet Olesya Elrod, an Altean and Galra half-blood. Join her on her latest mission for the Blade of Marmora. A mission to sneak into the Castle of Lions and gather information on the Paladins. Also, did I fail to mention she's Zarkon's forgotten adopted daughter? Voltron: Descendants (fanfiction) by TillytheKitty0328

It's been years since the universe had seen the great Paladins of Voltron in battle. Years since those paladins have seen the lions. The universe was saved, so the lions left. Until now. The paladins are older now, and each have their own families. Hunk and Shay decided to settle down, and had a son named Erik. He looked a lot like Hunk, but was very Bulmeran. Shiro met an alien named Hel while on a special mission. The two fell in love and had a baby boy named Kade. Kade had black messy hair, and dark skin like Hel. Pidge didn't end up having any kids, but Matt on the other hand had a daughter named Evelyn. Evelyn was a lot like the siblings, with the same Gunderson charm. Lance settled down with Allura, and had a daughter named Isla. Isla looked very much like Allura, but with Lances brown hair and a strange condition with her skin tone. She ended up with a very light skin tone, due to a strange Altean occurrence. When no Altean father is present, the child takes the skin tone of the closest Altean male. Since that was Coran, Isla ended up with lighter skin, but Lance and Allura had no problems with it. Some time after Allura had passed away, Lance and Keith realized they had feelings for each other. They soon adopted a daughter named Abbey. Abbey had been through a lot regarding families, so she wasn't fond of siblings. Soon enough though, her and Isla became great friends. Even though Pidge had no children, all the kids thought of her as the cool aunt. They were all friends, and hung out quite often. This is the story of the Voltron Descendants. (This is a story me and my friends are writing. The new characters are OC's of ours, and we wanted to do something with them. In this universe, Allura made it past the final battle, but passed away when Isla was young. All of the kids are fairly smart since Pidge educated them, but a few are more impulsive than others.)
