This story has been swirling around my head for quite some time but I couldn't find the courage to write it because I am no writer. Nevertheless, I have decided to take the plunge to just get it out of my head. This story is based on my favourite Cdrama Eternal Love: Ten Miles of Peach Blossom. It will not follow the timeline of the drama but will have all the familiar characters and places. Bai Qian the Crown Princess of the Imperial Fox Family came back from her high goddess trial a changed woman. Gone is the mischievous and fun loving girl. What came back is a fierce warrior who is determined to organise and train the first ever army of Qing Qui. Mo Yuan the God of War and Ye Hua his twin brother, the Crown Prince of the Celestial throne must fight the battle that could cost both their lives and of all realms. A secret is about to be revealed that will intertwine the fates of the twin brothers and the warrior queen of Qing Qui. The three and another must come together to win the battle of their lives but will they? This is my first ever story so I'd like to request all to be kind. In my re-imagined story, I am attempting to give our beloved leads a genuine chance at love with their own thoughts, behaviors, and desires. Granted, life is full of misunderstandings, obstacles and karma. Donghua learns that being a heartless god has its consequences. Having been careless and inconsiderate with the hearts of those who had fawned over him, he'll find it difficult to fulfill his. At its very core, this is a character-driven story about healing from trauma and the growth of a deep and meaningful friendship. It also attempts to explore the coming of age of love and desire for each of them. Those who can't tolerate slow burns should avoid reading this story ;) They meet much later, (she never becomes his maid) and was not involved in the BQ/Su Su/YH situation. Xiao Bai is young and very innocent as this story unfolds. Donghua is arrogant and obtuse, though with more playfulness and tenderness in the style of The Pillow Book. His edges are much softer. There are quite a few characters from the original series. Zhe Yan, Mo Yuan, Bai Zhen, Bai Qian, Ye Hua, Lian Song, Si Ming and Zhong Lin will make appearances, plus others from Eternal Love and ELOD. What happens after Fengjiu wakes up? This is the sweet, funny life of Donghua, Fengjiu and Gungun as they live happily ever after. Many appearances from old friends. I try to follow the show the most (because I love it to pieces), then the novel, plus Back to Chaos and other one-shot takes released by Tang Qi though with extra spiciness because Donghua being possessive, naughty and insatiable in bed tracks with his personality, don't you agree? Each chapter will have a note about when the story takes place if it's not clear. Warning: though there are a lot of sweet moments, there are also a lot of sexually explicit content (noted with a 🔥 in the subtitle). The What If? Chapters tells what happens if Donghua had died in the Starlight Ward in the show and the world turned to chaos, and Fengjiu travels back in time to save him. It has the same tone as the other one-shots (mostly cute and funny) but a little darker and more violent.
