Hadley Ann Miller: Typical high school popular girl. Blonde, thin, pretty, wanted by all teenage boys she meets, and she gets everything she wants. Even if that means getting the bartender to sneak her a drink or two.

Ethan Gabe Foster: I guess you could call him "Emo". He went through many parent troubles as a kid and he's not too happy either. Things he's good at; skating, listening to KISS and pretending like he doesn't exist.

So what happens when these two people meet? They've been going to the same school and lived across the street from each other for years, but what's so special about junior year? Why does Hadley all of a sudden feel attracted to this invisible boy? And why does Ethan feel like he doesn't need to hide around this preppy girl? They may discover that what they need the most is a friend. Even if that friend is the polar opposite of you.
