We know that the SkyWing egg was smashed. We know that two of the guardians died in the attempt to fulfill the prophecy. But if everything had gone right, what would have happened under the mountain on the brightest night?
    
    I originally wrote this intending it to be a prologue for a longer work, but I didn't have a real plan for where that would go. So this will stand alone. I hope you enjoy it anyway.
