Souls of Bygone Scars

-- If only you'd known that it was easier to frown, than it was to smile --

-- Every waterfall starts off strong; it fights through obstacles until it creates its own path. But eventually the waterfall becomes weak; it breaks down so that it's just tiny tear-shaped droplets of water. Until it is all gone --

-- Humans are like waterfalls, but we keep on getting stronger until it's too painful to keep going --

"I'm so ugly. I mean, look at all these scars." You say as you start to silently count them.

"Can I ask you a question?" The ebony haired boy you've grown to love asks gently.

"Sure."

"Can you tell me, the difference between the stars in the sky, and the scars on your skin?" He questions you as you look at him slightly confused.

"Well, the stars are beautiful, they're a whole galaxy that's yet to be explored. But these-" You are cut off by a long finger being placed on your soft lips, silencing you. He tilts his head cutely, smiling his bunny smile.

"Exactly, I see no difference."
