I angled my neck to look up at him. "What?" I said in disbelief. I had to have heard him wrong.
He licked his lips before he spoke."I said. You're mine" the finality in his voice almost made me stop arguing. Almost. He pulled me closer to him and my heart began to pound against my chest. I shook my head at him biting my lip in frustration. I turned my head away from him my curly hair hiding my facial expression.
"All I want is to be left alone." I whispered into the breeze.
