Hello,

My name is Alison but I would like you to call me Amina. I don't want to hear the name Alison ever again because i hate the memories that come with it.

Who am I?

In short, a depressed lonely girl that grew up with uncaring, strict parents, a disappeared older brother, a muslim friend, two orphan siblings and an attentionned boxing coach.
In spite of this all, I managed to find a light, a tiny little light that was Islam and when I've reached it, I couldn't do anything more but dig deeper and deeper until I changed my life forever. However what is going to happen to me is quite unbelievable.

Never have I thought that this change would bring me even more haunting memories.

Yours truly,

Amina Alison Courtney.

Learn the eventual result of these two hot-headed Muslims and where life takes them... Both start off with a rather teasing and sarcastic friendship, but time leads them into something more-- something beautiful. ************************************************************************************************ "Now? Now I have to deal with you throwing all your hard work for a girl! A girl Ahmed! A girl!" He emphasizes 'girl' with annoyance and disappointment. I clench my jaw getting heated. "Dad she is NOT some girl okay! I love her and she loves me! She is more than just some girl!" I soften my tone, "dad I love her okay and I'm not leaving NYU because of her. I'm not even thinking about NYU for her. And for our future together." I try to reason with my dad who is shaking his head in disbelief. "Ahmed I know you care about her okay. There's nothing wrong with falling in love-- unless she's taking you away from your life plan!" My dad explains visibly frustrated. "Dad, it was never my life plan to begin with. It was yours!" I run a hand through my hair. ************************************************************************************************ ALSO, THIS STORY IS A TAD RELIGIOUS BUT IT IS FICTIONAL

"Why didn't you tell me he went here?" Sabrina managed to croak out. Her throat was dry and there was a loud drumming sound in her ears which she realized was her heart. "Oh..uh...well..." Leila stuttered and then trailed off. She smiled sheepishly. "I totally forgot about Khalid." Sabrina winced when she heard his name. "How could you?" Sabrina asked, horrified. "You know I don't like him and, not to mention, that he hates my guts!" "Oh, come on! That was years ago. He probably doesn't even remember you." Leila assured, waving her hand. At that moment, Khalid Fayad turned towards them, his eyes landing on Sabrina's. Sabrina held her breath hoping - praying - that he would turn away without recognizing her. Unfortunately, he seemed to remember her all too well. From the way he smirked at her now, Sabrina just knew that her senior year at New Hope High was ruined. _______________________________________________________ A story of racism and hate, of love and acceptance. Can Sabrina overcome the hate that she is wrongly accused of. Can she forgive those who have tortured her life with bitter words and unending cruelty. Can she fight back with not hate, but good?
