Optimism and kindness can only last a person so long, and when tragedy strikes, it can be difficult to continue in the indulgence of such ideas. In regards to and of (Y/n) Van Dort, they might have never existed in the first place. After losing the source of those beliefs, she felt lost in a whirlwind of melancholy. But one night, she somehow arrives in the one and only Halloween Town, where she comes face to face with ghouls, goblins and the one and only Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King himself. Will their chance encounter end in tragedy? Or will it lead to something more?

A knight in shinning armour is nothing compared to a skeleton in a pinstripe suit. Well sort of. (Y/N) has lived with her family in peace for her whole life... that is until her 16th Halloween when a strange trio of trick-or-treaters came to her house. Will the prisoner of The Boogie man find her savoir or will she remain captured and abused for the rest of her life in Halloween Town? Disclaimer: I do not own anything in The Nightmare Before Chrismas or the reader. I only own the plotline.
