His voice was soft, but the whole cafeteria seemed to quiet as he looked down at me from the huge stage that was awkwardly placed in the quite small space, holding a bouquet of gorgeous deeply red roses.
"F-Felicia.." he sputtered, his face growing darker shades of pink each word he uttered.
"I.. r-really like you! Please go o-out with me! " and with that I did a double take. Literally. My mocha was spewed all over a couple of fake bimbos across from me. I gathered up my courage and slightly touched Patterson's hand. Standing up, although I was only a few feet from the stage, I took a breath.
"Romantic movies, " I started, annoyance in my voice heard before the actual words.
"they're movies, you know that, right? I'm not going to fall for you just because you acted like an idiot and displayed yourself like this. It's fiction for a reason. It's dumb and it won't ever happen. Now go sit down, you're making a fool of yourself."

It's her first day at a new school, a random person Airdropped her something and they begin to chat. This mystery guy is 17 and also his Junior year and is a football player. She knows nothing about him so she's determined to learn more. What she finds out shocks her completely. Preview: "Y/n! Come on let's go!" "Yeah! You are going to make us late!" "God! I'm coming I'm coming! I just needed to grab something." I said walking out to them. "Is that a book?" "Yeah- I really need to know what happens! I'm almost done with it, once I finish I'll watch the game don't worry." I assured the two of them. "Okay want ever you say." We left to go to the game finding a close-to-the-front seat. The three of us sat, we already bought some drinks and snacks. The game soon started and I began to read. "Player down!" Someone yelled as they ran a crossed the field. My head snapped up to get a look and I saw number 22 sitting up with one leg bent and the other laying on the ground. He seamed calm. "Alright, let's get you up," some one said kneeing next to number 22. "No no, I'm fine. Help them, they may be out, he is not responding to me." 22 insisted. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.

I was sincerely praying he was grabbing his stuff to go so i wouldn't have another interaction with him, but of course not. His friend left and he came back and sat by me. "I'm trying to do homework can you please go somewhere else" i said in a heavily annoyed tone. "See i would, but one i think you like me too much to actually want me to leave" he said before i cut him off "i don't" he laughed before continuing "this next part is really gonna suck then" he said pausing obviously waiting for a reaction out of me which i don't give him. "fine. you're no fun. we have to schedule our tutoring times" he said before nudging me "i'm your first student to tutor surprise!" he said in a tone that i can only describe as annoying because that's all he is, is annoying. Before he went to shut the door and go to the drivers side of the car he crouched down and leaned in to whisper in my ear. "If you get out of this car I'll get Luke out here so we can beat you up till you're bloody." He threatened, proceeding to slam the door shut. My ass was glued to that seat. -------- Lily is like any other 16 year old girl, horny and tired. She's tired of constantly being bullied by her brother and his best friend, Ethan. She's dealt with it her entire life, but something begins to change between her and Ethan. What felt like hate soon became lust. He's toxic, he's manipulative, he's mean, but somehow she's attracted to him. Of course neither wants to admit it though. Will their relationship actually work or will they both end up with their heads blown off? ------- Mature content⚠️ - mentions and some SA - cursing - abuse - depression and suicidal thoughts This is kinda dark romance. I don't endulge in romance like this it's just fun to write. This is also a slow burn. If you're impatient and want character development fast this book isn't for you. I want to keep this story as realistic as possible and people changing their ways overnight isn't. I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.

I grunted slightly and swiftly grabbed my glasses, pushing my homework off of my chest and shoving my legs into a pair of skinny jeans. I grabbed my shirt and pulled it on, making sure the sleeves covered my hands so I'd have something to hold. I brushed my teeth while putting my things into my back pack and kissed my mother in a a family photo before darting out the front door, and spitting both my toothbrush and the left over bubbles in my mouth onto the grass, I'd have to pick it up later. I ran out to the mail box and waved good by to my horse Smokey's small grave stone, reaching the bus just in time. My day went by as usual. I barely got through most of my classes staying dead silent through out. People would try to interact with me but all I could do was grunt at them. If only I could actually say "Speech Impediment" maybe they would stop talking about me. Some how the usual group of jerks found out I was gay and told everyone. This life sucks. I got into fifth period and Mr. Schmidt looked at me. I froze, Oh hell no. I started to shake as he told me to read. I know he had a speech impediment too, but it was embarrassing to turn down such a request. "Read the next two pages" such an easy sounding task is it not?..... He stepped to me and I froze. "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him?
